The International returns to Seattle

Dota 2’s most important annual tournament, The International, is returning to Valve’s home city this October. The announcement was made by the Dota 2 team at Valve, and it has sparked excitement among the game’s community worldwide.

The International is a major esports tournament that sees the world’s best Dota teams compete for the Aegis of Champions, which is awarded to the winning team. The event has a massive following, and it is considered the most prestigious tournament in the Dota 2 scene.

This year, The International will take place at the newly constructed Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle. The venue is expected to welcome the largest audience in the event’s history, and fans are eagerly awaiting the chance to witness their favorite teams compete in person.

The tournament will kick off with the group stage on Saturday, October 14th, with the playoffs to follow. Both of these events will run under one banner, The Road to the International, which Valve will be releasing more information about in the coming weeks.

The International itself will commence on Friday, October 27th, and run through Sunday, October 29th. Dota 2 fans can expect to see some of the most intense and exciting matches of the year, as the best teams from around the world battle it out for the title of champion.

Valve will be announcing ticketing information and more details on The Road to the International as the event approaches. Dota 2 fans are advised to mark their calendars and stay tuned for updates, as this year’s tournament promises to be bigger and better than ever before.
