Valve hints the summer Battlepass 2023
Valve Corporation’s Dota 2 game has issued a call-to-arms to all workshop contributors to start conjuring up some new sets for any of their favorite heroes. The game developers have welcomed all designs for the Toy Butcher Pudge Persona and the Disciple’s Path Anti-Mage Persona in the Spring 2023 Workshop submissions. The deadline for submissions is set for May 29, 2023, PDT, and contributors have been requested to tag their work with the “Spring 2023” label to ensure it is not overlooked. The game developers have also reminded all contributors to avoid concepts involving human skulls, blood, and gore.
Dota 2’s recent “Dead Reckoning” update featuring “Muerta” has just arrived, and the game developers are already preparing for more updates. According to the announcement, the team will be launching a second Workshop Call-to-Arms later this year, with a late-August deadline, so even if contributors have new ideas at the ready, there is still plenty of time to brainstorm on designs.
Fans have speculated that this call-to-arms announcement hints at the possibility of a summer battle pass for Dota 2 coming soon this year. With the game developers already setting deadlines for submissions, it’s no wonder why the Dota 2 community is excited about what Valve has in store for them in the future. Dota 2 fans are encouraged to visit the Workshop and vote through the Queue to ensure their voices are heard in the selection process.
