DreamLeague kicks Off

DreamLeague Season 19, one of the biggest Dota 2 tournaments in the world, has officially kicked off today with the participation of 16 teams from various regions. The tournament is organized by ESL and sponsored by Intel Predator, DHL, and Monster Energy.

The participating teams have been selected based on the ESL Pro Tour (EPT) Ranking System, with five teams from Western Europe, three teams from North America, and two teams each from Eastern Europe, South America, China, and Southeast Asia.

The tournament will start with Group Stage 1, which will take place from April 9 to April 12, 2023, and will feature two groups of eight teams each. The matches will follow a single round-robin format with all matches being Best-of-Two. The top four teams from each group will advance to Group Stage 2, while the remaining teams will be eliminated.

Group Stage 2 will take place from April 14 to April 20, 2023, and will feature one group of eight teams. The matches will follow a single round-robin format with all matches being Best-of-Three. The top two teams will advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs, while the 3rd and 4th place teams will advance to the lower bracket of the playoffs. The remaining teams will be eliminated.

The playoffs will take place from April 22 to April 23, 2023, and will feature a double-elimination bracket format. All matches, except the Grand Final, will be Best-of-Three, while the Grand Final will be Best-of-Five. The winning team will qualify for the Riyadh Masters 2023.

The tournament’s Group A features Entity Entity, Evil Geniuses, ex-HellRaisers, Execration, Gaimin Gladiators, Shopify Rebellion, Team Aster, and TSM. Meanwhile, Group B includes beastcoast, Nigma Galaxy, OG, Talon Esports, Team Liquid, Team Spirit, and Tundra Esports.

DreamLeague Season 19 promises to be an exciting event for Dota 2 fans worldwide, with top-tier teams battling it out for the title of champion.
